    Ahhh; ok, this I have some familiarity with.

    "Probably the most efficient (in the sense of voltage output for a given string motion) is Kinsmans patented design with the laminated core and shield" said Joe.

    What leads you to think this? It does look like it has the potential to get a lot of flux working for the task at hand...

          This could be part of the reason I'm trying to get all this machinery close to the strings while still minimizing string pull (I think Rick Turner also expressed this thought.)
