Anybody know where to get some 1010 steel round stock from 3/16" to 1/4"? Been all over the net and it thoroughly eludes me.

You can get 1018 from McMaster.

Those Strat blade bobbins take 1/16" (.0625" - 1.5875mm) blades.

David, can you meaure the height of the blade please? I'm trying to find out how tall the pickup would be with the blade inserted.

David, can you meaure the height of the blade please? I'm trying to find out how tall the pickup would be with the blade inserted.

I'm using 3/4" high blades. Mine are flat on the top since I'm putting them in a closed cover.

The Mojo blades are have a 10.25 radius. The list the dimensions as: 2.265 Length x .625 H, .880 H, .825 H. I'm not sure why there are three heights listed.

The way these are normally used would be to have a baseplate with a rectangular cutout in it. The blades and magnet poke under the baseplate.
