    I'm intrigued by this comment. Is this true? Is it actually just the same as one of his regular stacks but with only the top coil? His other pickups don't use neos, but do you really know that it's the same besides that?

      What intrigues me is that the Telecaster Neck Micro-coil is sealed in epoxy....

      I wonder what the big secret is.....

        It is the ratio of signal to hum that counts. The claim has to be justified by by measurement, theory, or both. Otherwise, it is just a advertizing slogan. I think there could actually be some improvement in the ratio, but probably not enough to justify the claim except in the advertizing world. If smoking Marlboros could enhance your ratio, then why not? Oh, it actually has the opposite effect after a couple of decades? Never mind.
