I have a Schecter C-1 Plus guitar that has two push/pull volume 500k pots(for coil splitting). I'm trying to wire my SH-55 Seth Lover pickup in the neck position. This only has a single conductor wire and I don't know if I can wire it normally to this type of knob. I read this thread http://music-electronics-forum.com/s...ead.php?t=7556 about how to coil split it, but I'm not even interested in doing that. My question is, can I wire this pickup normally to this push/pull 500k pot, or do I have to get a new pot in there. Thanks.

Yes, just wire it normally. Pulling the knob up will have no effect whatsoever. The switch (push-pull) won't even be in the circuit, only the pot.

No you just wire it to the 3 prongs on the volume pot itself. The six prongs are the switch only, they will have no effect whatsoever if you only go to the 3 prongs on the volume pot and wire as normal...http://www.SDpickups.com
