I have a pair of Seymour Duncan Strat Single coils staggered P/Us in for repair.
They have black bottoms, black and white cloth wire, and have the following date stamp.
SD 2 87
They have paper stickers on the bottom that have M1R, on one, and N1R on the other.
The short wire pickup(bridge) is a full coil with black tape over the wire.
The one with longer wires(neck) is pretty full with no tape.
They both read open, zero DCR.
Each pickup has a inside diam. of near 11mm inside the forbon.
Does anyone have a clue what the DCR Would have been on these pickups.
I haven't starting taking them apart yet, so I don't know what the tpl is.
They apear to have HFV 42 Wire.
The exposed pickup appears to be hand wound.
Did S. D. himself Wind these?
Thanks,
B_T
