  • baseplate holes?

I was wondering what you guys do on your baseplates in order for the bobbins to be oriented properly? I noticed on the baseplates I have there is a hole for the main lead wire only on one side. So I have to drill a hole because if I don't the neck pickup will be facing the opposite direction of the bridge pickup. Do you guys drill holes too or is there a source for different baseplates that have holes on both sides? I could just add extra length of wire on the pickup that has the hole on the far side but I like my leads to all come out on the side closest to the guitar cavity.

The neck & bridge humbuckers are made exactly the same way except for the difference in wind & the neck pickup is flipped so the wire hole will be at the top of the baseplate in the neck position.

Yeah I've drilled holes to run the wire to be as I wanted. All the bases from the kits I've purchased have been drilled the same.
