It sounded very good and is stronger than a regular strat SC pickup. A bit of a P90 Vibe.
I had to lower the pickup to match the strat SC in the neck position.
With 9-10k turns of 43, I think it would make a P90ish bridge pickup.
Going to see if one will fit in a no holes strat cover.
If you want a new wrinkle on a Strat SC pickup, this one is worth a try.
Are these full size strat pickups ? your installing in a CB guitar

Yes, they are full sized strat pickups.
They are differrent than the mojo pickup.
Mine will fit in a strat cover. (but it's too short to go to the top of the cover)
If I have any more made, I'm going to have the top fiber made larger, where it will just fit in a strat pickguard.
That way I could have some made with Tone-Kraft white top forbon.
They would match a pickguard better than the black.

The Electric Blues Box Slide Guitar kit on sale at GC for $35...

I've been following the cigar box guitar thread here so I was kinda shocked to see Guitar Center selling kits for $34.99...

P.S. My first thought was the hope that these kits going for $30 to $35 don't hurt the sales of big tee's customer in this thread... These kits will undoubtedly sound nothing like a well-made cigar box guitar.
