  • Counters from Advanced supply

I have been researching counters and trying to get a handle on what works best, saw these and wonder if they would work ok.

If the internal lithium battery isn't exhausted, this ought to work as a turns counter. It's similar to the CUB3, but with a few more options.

Speaking of expired batteries, I got a couple CUB4's once that had dead batteries, I opened them up with the intention of replacing the batteries but instead just ended up removing them and hooking up a LM317 setup for 3.3V output.

That'l work, if the dead batteries didn't leak.

Try the intersil 7207 single chip counter. add a 4 1/2 digit display and instant
counter. It is still available from several sources for a few bucks, I got mine as a free sample. Very easy to use you can cascade two for very high counts. use a phototransisror led interrupter or reed switch to trigger.

Looks like a Red Lion cub 3. Probably work fine.
