speaker 8ohm help

Hi all,

I have an 8 ohm speaker and I'm trying to figure out how to make it work!

I tried to plug it into a simple amp circuit that produce a 0.1V as output on the speaker end. unfortunately...it doesn't work!

any suggestion? I thought that an 8ohm 0.1W speaker was perfect....I'm quite sure there's something that Im completely missing here!

Try a battery to hear a "plop" sound. If not, the speaker is dead

The question is, what is the circuit you are using to try and drive the speaker?

WHich is it, .1v or .1w?
