  • Source of NEMA 5-15 panel mount receptacle

Hi all. I recently picked up a 240v -117v step down transformer. It's a beast of a thing. But the 117v outlets are two pin with an outboard earth connector. Does anyone know where I can source a 3 pin socket to replace the older style receptacles? Please see the attached picture for a look at what needs to be replaced.

    Many thanks

    It's not microphonic - it's undocumented reverb.

Most these days are square snap-ins.

Such connectors have been stupid-expensive for some time now. I used to sometimes see them as replacements for the ones on the rear panel of Fender amps, so some amp supplier might still have some.

Another approach is to use a 2 blade to three prong adapter with the short grounding conductor wire that could be attached to the outboard earth connector. Photo example attached.
