  • what fuze value is this?

It's a small 5x20mm fuse, fast blow, and it says on a sticker in the amp next to the fuse "0,16AM". I assume it's a .16 amp?

Probably, but apply a little educated guessing: if it's in a small 1 tube preamp, or an SS pedal, 0.16A`looks fine; if it's in an Ampeg SVT Classic or a big rack power amp, I'd read it as 16A and think that the "dot" is just a small metal imperfection.

So .... where did you pull it from?

May not be the mains fuse either. could be for control voltages or some such. Still... just guessing without model # or schematic.

I don't have a schematic but they are for output tube protection on a ENGL judging from the fact one tube wasn't working and a new tube didn't either till i replaced the fuse. All i had tho is a .5 amp so if it's .16 i suppose i should find one for it. Then again most amps don't even have fuse protection on the outputs.

0.16A fast blow is too small for any power tube; at most it would be enough to protect a screen supply .
          Weird anyway.
Try to sketch at least a part of the circuit where it's located.

Another option might be that the original fuse was, say, 0.5A , and user replaced it with a 0.16A he had available , which of course blew instantly.

FWIW I never believe users when they swear on a pile of Bibles, Qurans or whatever that "they touched nothing and everything is factory original"
