      Yes, there is some problem in the monitor side of the mixer section.
      But there must also be a problem with the amp select switch. Amp1 connects to the same point whether switched to main/main or main/mon. You said Amp1 is not working in the main/mon position. Could be a bad switch, or bad connection to the switch.
      (this is all assuming you are calling Amp Left Amp1)

        Switch tests ok

        This is getting over my head. anyone here willing to fix this if i ship it to you? if so give me an estimate. probably not worth the money but i'm curios as hell to find out wants wrong with this unit

                  This is every day fare for a competent amp tech. If you have a repair shop in your area that handles a general line of music electronics, they should be able to handle it.
