Seems the LM237 is selected for slightly better accuracy and extended operating temperature.
Otherwise data looks identical.

I'd never heard of the 237, but I haven't been playing with chips in a few decades. Must be newer, eh?
Definitely tighter regulation and more rugged at temperature. Nothing that would matter for musical instrument applications (as Enzo would say, 'not rocket science').
if the 337 is unobtainable, I guess it doesn't matter how much more the 237 will cost
