Customer brought in a Fostex D10 Dat Machine that came out of long term storage. Powering it up, it's locked up. All display indicators are on and no function buttons work. I replaced the dead 3v battery, but made no difference. I'm trying to find service info on this model, as it may just need to be initialized. I checked the power supply voltages and all seem to be there. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Will look further at schematic, but one thing I recall recently was a hifi unit that had bizarre locked up behavior just because a button was stuck.Originally posted by EnzoI have a sign in my shop that says, "Never think up reasons not to check something."
