  • PV6 USB schematic

    Hi all,

I am looking for a Peavey PV6USB mixer with a faulty psu section. Unlike the bigger models, it employs an external psu but has some regulating circuit that is shot in the one I have for repair. Anyone has it?

I have emailed Peavey's repair service at least 5 times and got no reply whatsoever. They used to be very quick to help up until a few month ago. Anyone knows what's happening over there?

    Which repair service where?

For schematic requests I recommend customerservice@peavey.com

But also contacting customer service at euro-peavey should work. The repair guys are busy repairing, and they try to help, but they aren;t really the ones to ask for drawings.

    What specifically is your problem?

      Tanks Enzo.
Yes I did contact them at the address you mention.
The problem is that the external psu works but the mixer doesn't switch on because of SMD components I cannot identify.

Um, if we don;t know what they are, how do we know they are at fault? Is there no silk screening on the board?

Just remembered, the factory was on summer vacation earlier this month. They all go off at the same time.

That could explain the recent silence, yes.

I believe one or more is at fault since the voltage supply dosen't go past them. But without a schematic, I really can't go beyond this simple observation...

Did you figure the problem? I'm afraid I have the same issue. I got the schematic, thanks to you guys, and I opened up the box, with some finesse I think I can replace whatever is wrong.
