I have a Yamaha DG60-112 that has the capability to use a foot switch to switch between the A and B channels. The manual calls it a Yamaha FS-1 optional foot switch. There is an additional jack on the back of the amp to turn the reverb on and off. I bought a Marshall foot switch (I mean a foot switch is a foot switch, right!), that when plugged into the foot switch jack on the back of the amp, immediately changes the amp to the B channel and has an LED on the foot switch that is turned on. Pressing the switch only turns the LED off, it doesn't switch the channels, it remains in B. Opening up the Marshall foot switch, the switch has three terminals, the two wires from the soldered in cord goes to two of the terminals on the switch.
The amp switches channels just fine when the front panel switch is used.
Anyone have a schematic for the DG60-112 that can check to see if I need a DPDT switch or if there is something else unique to the amp where I would need something special for a foot switch. Perhaps a wiring for the optional FS-1 foot switch, that seems to be used with several other Yamaha products.
Thanks;
Larry
