Hi guys sorry if this post is in the wrong place, I had trouble finding a forum to ask about this; If this isn't the right forum could some one please link me to the right place.
Im transfering a set of Kerry King 81/85 EMGS with a PA2 Gain booster switch out of my explorer into my LTD M-100FM.
I am stuck with wiring the selector switch, The explorer has a round 3 way selector, and the m-100fm has a square 3 way selector which doesn't match up to the diagram that the EMGs come with.
Here are some pictures of the diagram itself & the selector switch im trying to wire it too. Sorry for the poor photo quality.
I'll explain the selector switch photo with the yellow lines i have put up,
It has 8 pins across it in line and the middle ones are joint together (how it originally was, the can be unjoined for the emgs)
So it's like 1 2-3 4-5 6-7 8 The -'s meaning theyre joint together like the pictures little yellow lines.
Then it also has 2 other pins (1 on each side) on the bottom of the actual switch (not the circuit board with the 8 pins) so im assuming that could be earths? They are the 2 top yellow lines in the photo i posted.
Sorry for the confusion and poor photos but it would be much appriciated if somebody could help me as this is a birthday present for a friend I have to get done :\
Thanks, Michael
