Just curious, how did you measure that 6A consumption @ 48V supply if you don't have the batteries yet?

I used four 12.7 Volt lead acid car batteries connected in series(50.8V) with hand made LDO regulator(PMOS IRF4905 + OP Amp LM324) to power my TAS5630 Class-D Amp Board.

I have to build these test equipment by myself since high power power supply is a bit expansive.

It takes little effort to build my test circuit but everything seems works fine.

I will post more modification pictures once I get all of the materials I need.

I thought I'd never see this again: Mike Matthew's 40 battery powered Freedom Amp (1971):

So packs of 8 paralleled batteries, and 12 of those 8 packs in series?
