BOSS ME-20B schematic needed
08-18-2016, 03:36 AM
Does anyone have the schematics or service manual for the BOSS ME-20B? Some components missing from the board. (IC5,C64,C139).
Thanks in advance!

So it's missing a buffer ic and two capacitors.
Were they ever there are you poking around?
For the 'B' (Bass) version they may not be required.
That PCB may be used on different models.
Roland may be able to tell you.

It's due to battery leakage. Components in the affected area loosened by the acid.
Version B board looks exactly the same. IC5 is needed for EEPROMs.
Thank you Jazz P Bass for giving me the schematic. I will be totally lost without it.
