That schematic is going to prove to be difficult to find. What's the matter with the amp? Perhaps someone here has had some experience working on this model before.
Is not the 6262 similar enough, at least in the V1 stage? If not, the Bugera 6260 is supposed to be a clone of the Peavey 6505. Maybe the Peavey schematic will work?
hum on the "clean " channel...i shorted grids to ground to isolate...all the 12 ax7s will kill the hum except for pin 7 on the 1st tube--grounding that one increases the hum . tubes have been swapped.
another oddity-- when on Clean..the hum only appears from 5 to 8 on the Clean gain pot. Its gone at 9 or 10 .
ive tried moving the wires around with no change....thinking lead dress..
Pots don't generally make hum, ut anything is possible. Learn not to blame Chinese-ness for problems, it will only distract you.
Does the volume control to zero kill the hum?
V9 is the input tube, pin 7 the input from the jacks. From pin 6 it splits into the two gain controls, which a relay selects to feed into V9 pin 2. I find it odd that hum on clean but not on lead.
