Itīs interesting that it charges battery constant current (800mA) so the typical 12V 7AH battery will be fully charged overnight.

Better remember to unplug it or youīll dry it up in no time (a couple Months) but in any case quite safe and predictable.

Fenderīs own (but much later) Amp Can used a similar approach, but both used a safer constant voltage charger (set to a safe level) and being made in USA used a TDA2005 BTL power amp, again designed for Car Radio duty.
