Hughes & Kettner Statesman Dual EL84 service manual

Hi, guys, greetings from Brazil!

I know it's very hard to find, but, anyone have the schematic of this amplifier? I have one in the bench now with burned resistors in the output path.

Have you tried contacting Hughes and Kettner directly?

If no luck there, please post some pictures. We may be able to figure it out. There are only so many ways to build a dual EL84 amp.

Yes, i tried more than three times without any response.

About the pictures, i'll provided later (i don't have a good definition camera now).

What are resistors?

I'm pretty sure Dr meant to say " What are the resistors?" i.e what are they connected to? Do they look like high or low power ones? A picture would help.

I was referring to the resistor numbers, for example R45.

Thanks to your help and sorry for my later reply.

After some searching, i found the right values of resistors (unfortunatly, because the Covid19 i'm very far from my workshop in these days), here is:

- R59: 1K/3W;
- R73: 1K/3W.

Both are in power stage (open). The two output tubes (EL84) has died, too.

R82: 220K 1/4W (power supply), show some burn marks.

I ordered these parts from a local dealer and try to return with the whole picture when i received it.

Try this Tube 20 schematic for the output section.

Unfortunatly i didn't have it, i just get the information based in an photo from one guy in internet, but it helps to elucidate these parts.
