  • Selmer PA100 solid state

Please does anyone have a schematic for this unit? I can only find the valve versions, not the solid state one. It's this one - https://www.vintagehofner.co.uk/selmer/amps/sel4.html Many thanks

I guess that the design will be fairly generic, so if you can find similar models of the same era, eg a 100W instrument amp, it’ll be pretty close.

Post gut pics, I suspect a transformer driven germanium transistor power amp.

Worst cse "should" be repirable without schematic.

What´s the actual problem you´re trying to solve?

Hey Guys thanks for your replies. The problem is, only the positive going waveform is present on the output, so only one half of the driver board is working.
It's not pulling excessive current. But someone has messed about with it in the past, and replaced the 4 smoothing caps with 10,000uF ones. (from right to left they have -38v,+38v, -37v+38v on them.

The driver board has a hole drilled though the track (which I've linked). None of the components appear to failed.
I believe they are silicon transistors RCA40312 drivers and 40411 on the output, They are not complementary so, as you say transformer driven, with another transformer on the output with impedance selection.

There's one connection post with no connection, but has solder on it, so maybe there is a wire missing...
I can probably work it out eventually, or draw it, but if anyone has a similar circuit I can look at that would be handy. The Selmer Saturn 60 is similar but it doesn't have dual supply.
