Trace Elliott 1215 in Protect mode

Hi...I have this unit which appears to be in protect mode....The red LED above the output level control is always red....I did check the output board for any shorted transistors and blown emitter resistors..but couldn't find anything....the customer attempted to contact the Canadian agent and they refused to accept it for service saying that it was too old and was obsolete......so he asked me to take a look....anybody have any previous experience with this particular amp??

PSS....I guess three of them finally loaded up...I will have to post the rest in lots of three maybe??

Im repairing one 1215 that some times enters in protection mode.
The schematic mention the mps6531 and the mps6533 but in the smt version.
Anyone knows if this is right? I tried to find it but no luck.
Anyone knows a good replacement in the sot-23 package?
