Storage Lockers being forced to vacate gear

I just got horrifying news early this evening: I have until Nov 15th to rescue/relocate all of my shop benches / shelving, test gear, Backline gear, darkroom gear, electronic lab-quality instrumentation, AC power analyzers, bridges, spare Tektronix 7000 series scope backup gear & plugins, etc

I will have to get my laptop powered up and find access to WiFi or hardline internet to get to photos of what I have to move, liquidate, give away, etc.

I need this decree right now while being holed up in a nursing home with a broken left leg and further complications from my injuries. Sigh……..

There will be free giveaways in this assualt to my decades of acquiring lab assets. My lockers are located in Gardena, CA.

Do have inventory lists of what is tucked away. More details to come.

That's really bad timing for you.
So sorry to hear this news.
Are they closing the storage facility?

Yes, they are. No idea what is going to be done with the space. I am just one of probably hundreds of storage lockers there. I have a 14’ x 12’ space and. 12’ x 10’ space. The larger of the two has two areas of large shelving units with stacked shelving cubes providing a lot of shelving space. The larger of the two, which I will show photos of some great organization. The larger has what was once a framed structure that once had my double bed matress in place. Now that provided a ‘second floor’ within the locker

Getting all of the ‘shelving structures’ out means unloading all of the gear pulled out first, making moving everything out of that room a virtual nightmare!

Gotta create a plan as well as where I can go next with my assets.

Oh that's awful to hear Steven, and couldn't be worse timing. Certainly not something you need while you're recuperating.
Would Center Staging or any of the staff/clients do you any favours with temporary storage or assistance moving? If I were local I'd do whatever I could to help out.
I hope you get this sorted out with minimal stress.

Absolutely awful treatment. Any chance of pleading to their humane side given your predicment. Can't hurt to ask... After all someone has to be the last to leave I guess.
