The transformer I've got has an open thermal fuse, and as my luck it's properly buried deep in the windings so repairing it is out of the question.
Fender only sells jellybean parts like jacks and pots, nothing like a PT. Neither Hammond nor Mercury seem to offer replacements. Unsurprisingly, the manufacturer (Schumacher) doesn't sell OEM products to end-users.
It's possible that the transformer for the older Bassman 300 PRO might be compatible though with different terminations (newer transformer uses multi-pin AMP connectors instead of quick-disconnect terminals) but I can't find one of those either.
