By the way, I've been to France a couple times by necessity, never liked the country. I do like cookies however, especially coconut creme.

Cookies? I used to be a Do-si-dos man, but in recent seasons I have moved over to Samoas.

Don't know if they have those in France.

When I read the title of the thread I mumbled "at least someone has come to their senses" but realized it was just another NSA hacker at play again

This is getting confusing, are you moving to Samoa or France? And is it still called Samoa?

I believe the cookie formerly known as 'Samoa' is now known in parts of the country as 'Caramel Delight'. Moving to a place called 'Caramel Delight' doesn't sound as appealing to me now as it might have been when I was very young. Yet just as fattening.

The temp files with alphabet soup names are just that, temporary. Things your web browser downloads when it thinks you just want to view them once rather than saving them.

The web browser and indeed the OS itself can delete them any time if it thinks they're taking up too much space, so you shouldn't rely on them sticking around.

If there were Samoans in France, the French would hate them too. The French hate everybody, even themselves. They even hate French Fries. Personally, I love Samoans. Delicious cookies, and HUGE monster-sized players in the NFL.

I am not relying on them, but I see them listed when I am saving something else. SO I know they are there somewhere, but cannot find them. And they are from other browsing sessions, not just a few seconds old. They hang around for some time. Might be 30 days.

They explain that Samoas and Caramel deLights are the same, two different bakers make them for them, so different names.

And let's not forget the wrestlers, or that band "The Angry Samoans".
But to be honest, I've never heard of these "samoa" cookies. When Enzo said samoas, I thought it was a typo for samosas. I love samosas, and spanakopita too.

Oh, well maybe not in Canadia, but down here, Girl Scout cookies show up every season with a hard sell.

                      I like samosas too.

The French do not hate everyone, just those who hate France. France is a delightful country once you get to know it, with a fascinating long history, distinct culture, fabulous food, wine almost as good as northern California which means better than any where else, and great, slim stylish women.....what can be bad about a country that has great women and great food? What else is there in life?

The various times I spent in France, I went there open-minded and with the intent of enjoying the experience, as I have everywhere else in Europe, Asia, and even the Mid-East. I did not hate France, but I did hate the arrogant, condescending attitude I experienced from almost everybody I met there. I have always got along with people of every country I have ever traveled to, with the exception of France. As far as the wine and women, Portuguese wine is much better and Mediterranean & Eastern European women are much prettier!

Are there no Girl Scout cookie sales in Canada?

I must try samosas someday, after hearing the recommendations here.

65,430,000 people and you found no one who accepted you? Hummmm.

I suppose there is maybe one or two wine experts who will venture an opinion of Portugal wines being the best, however some Ports are considered very good in their class. Their fortified sweet wines are an acquired taste with a limited following, and hardly competition to France, California, Spain or Italy as the top wine producing countries in terms of quality and quantity.
You have little argument however in your acknowledgement of how pretty Eastern European women are, being somewhat of an expert in that field;>). It is one of many reasons I moved from the US to Russia 10 years ago after visiting 86 countries.
Exceptions are everywhere, in every country where one can spot a stunning woman but societies where food is really important such as France and Italy, really do have more slim fit feminine women than other countries. Overall, ignoring the rare exceptions, the US is hurt badly rankings by the poor diet, lack of active lifestyles and disinterest in femininity, not to mention piss poor attitude. The US is the only country I have seen where a typical young couple, the guy is often in better condition and more attractive than his partner.
From my visits, I would rank Portuguese wine and women, the same, good but not stellar, if you like fortified heavy reds and middle rank European style respectively.
It is not genetics or nationality that determines attractiveness of the women(or wine), it is society in which they grew up in. Bad attitude or bad wine comes from environment, not RNA or DNA.

The French don't hate everyone, just the Americans. When I was a kid I spent a year at school in France and it was great fun.
