Really like to know what the tools are for.
Generally tools are (meant to be) problem solvers.

Here's another tool you don't need often, but wish you had when you need one. This tool will save a lot of cussing and crawling around on the floor.

Yes, that's it. I call it a C-clip tool, but there are probably other names. They've also been called "Jesus clips" by many techs for obvious reasons.
