You can name the shortcut "MEF Only!" and try to remember to not go to any other strange places with this shortcut. When you want to go to FaceBook or Reverb.com or s-e-x-x-x.c-o-m or wherever, close the window and start a new session in a new launching of Chrome.
Firefox can be simpler but it is becoming clearer that FF and the system have many obscure interacting options and won't work the same for everybody.
My prayers to Steve and his family.

I also noticed today that there were no red characters in my browser's address window. I'm hopeful this means tboy is recovering and getting well. THAT would be the ultimate good news!"I took a photo of my ohm meter... It didn't help." Enzo 8/20/22

The site was down when I tried earlier today. I hoped that meant tboy was back and this is good news!

It's hard to think of anyone who has been as dedicated to this enterprise, and has been faithful to it, for as long as Steve has. I wish you nothing but the best of health, and the longest damn life anyone has ever had, buddy. It was an absolute delight to click on the MEF link "just for the hell of it, to see if anything had changed", and find it alive and well, after months of "security alerts".
Onward and upward.

It might be significant but user tboy still hasn't logged in since March. I know Steve has other user names and can probably login invisibly as Admin.
I hope Steve is well and can fully recover. I would truly hate losing this resource.WARNING! Musical Instrument amplifiers contain lethal voltages and can retain them even when unplugged. Refer service to qualified personnel.

Last time this happened, the only way Firefox will allow access is through a private window.
It took weeks to fix this issue last time, no doubt there will be little change unless the site is updated automatically. It is now a free service to use https!Support for Fender, Laney, Marshall, Mesa, VOX and many more. https://jonsnell.co.uk
If you can't fix it, I probably can.
