But I have a special industrial surplus power supply I use to make the brush plating chroming faster now, and it works great. The wallwart from Caswell worked good too at first but slower. I buff them up afterwards with Menzcerna polish.
I'm bluing the ones for the Night Club Guitar.
I make straight blades, I tried the mojo blades, and IMO they suck!
Too much curve that makes to much mids, and the E strings are weak.
But, That is Strictly IMO, IME!

What to hell is a lefty Pedal?
Or do you realize that is your market Here?
      I built the marshall clone.
Put some mods in it, I liked.
      That was fun.
I have been wanting to build a deluxe reverb kit.
      Should be easy enough.

A lefty pedal is all hype and PROFIT. It is exactly the same as a righty pedal but with any inductors wound the opposite direction. I was trying to get some action going that's all. But I was serious about building up some amps with NOS parts.

I like the Caswell kits they aren't all that pricey and do work. The instructions pretty much suck, but it is easy to guess what to do, Mainly you just clean the rail as best as you can then brush over it maybe more than you think it ought to be done, It might even look dull and dark. Then buff that out, and it will be great.

You must have made toppers, or made them fit in covers.
I have given it thought, but all sounded like too much work.

Thats a good sign Sonny. Any exposure is good.

I was fortunate enough to build a few sets of Strat pickups for a big name blues rock guitarist.
I had met his road manager through a string manufacturer rep and things just took off from there. We became good friends and I gave him three sets of pickups. His tech installed them and last I knew he was still using them as of 2011.

I cant even brag about who he is since he has an endorsement with a big name guitar builder and I wouldn't want to get him in any legal crap with them.
Just goes to show you how a chance meeting can lead to great things.
And you can never be too sure of whats under the hood when it comes to guitar pickups

I saw that earlier and congrats. My guy is a young singer songwriter and full of ideas and talent, but who knows -- that is common and only a few survive. The big thing I am getting and it is free is some decent demo tracks to post when it is all done. And he has his following on the facebook groups too.. Mainly I am just glad he likes them he has some good ears. We're still working on the demo tracks. It could have easily gone the other way, like you say it isn't easy to get the tone that is in someone else's head.
