  • Being new here, and a little confused as to how to buy in (and the thread length seems to have exceeded some limit on the forum software -- can't tell for sure where the end of the thread is...)...

    1. Can I still get in the buy? If yes, please count me in. If not, good luck anyhow and I'll watch for the results. (In the meantime, I'll use my klugy-battery-DVM-with-Hall-effect-device-glued-to-the-end-of-a-stick)
    2. I'm happy with whatever group decisions are already made. However, if you need a builder/prototyper at some point, let me know.
    3. Even if it's too late for me, thanks, RedHouse for coordinating.

Meanwhile, here is a pic of two boards I made up while waiting for the PIC to arrive.

Bottom-left is one made from Elepro's PCB artwork, has pin-terminals for the switch leads and shows how we use two 14-pin DIP sockets stacked inline.

Bottom-right is one I made up my own PCB artwork for, based on Elepro's and doesn't use the pin-terminals for the switch leads, but wires will be soldered directly to the board. The pads for the capacitors also allow both 5mm and 7mm pad spacing.

The top board is the LCD display module (upside down) showing how I had to use two 8-pin sockets instead of the 16 pin one specified in the parts list.
(the 16 pin socket was on backorder at Mouser)

                            • I'll take two. Seriously. I was told to get one for the shop, and well, I still want mine. Since it will be a completely separate transaction, please attach the name "AAI" to the second one.

                              • at this moment i have 18 pic.... then, with the one that i shipped are 19....

you are 19 (with 2X Defaced).... you have to decide if it's time to close the group buy....

I also can order them but i would do this only after that Redhouse make the test and give the green light.... then the wait will extend....

                                bye
