Hi!
sorry for my english that is not so good ...
i bought a vl100 head! and it sounds great!
than one of the 5 tubes (the third) is gone....!
now i want to change the tube, but i'm not sure about witch tubes are in the head (originally). and i don't know if i have to change alle the tubes or just the one that dosn't work...!
last thing i have found some Electro Harmonix or sovtek or 12ax7wa. what do you think about this tubes, and wich is the best to play hard rock and virtuosos licks?

I suggest Svetlana or JJ tubes.
Sovtek only 12AXWA (NOS) or made by Tung-Sol.

That is one of the 12AX7 preamp tubes. You can replace just one of those, you do not need to replace all of them. As far as which brand to use, that is so subjective I don't really have advise for you. Most advise I see on internet forums regarding tube brand choices makes no sense to me, everyone is so different, people's likes and dislikes are personal and subjective and only true for the person who holds them. I suggest you get several different brands and see for yourself what you like better.
