4 ohms to the main jack. Plug anything into the extension jack, and the contacts switch over to the 2 ohm winding. That way the internal 4 ohms and the external 4 ohms - which combine to make 2 ohms - will be served.
Is this a mistake - this schematic shows a 4 ohms load for late seventies super reverb:

Thanks Enzo, if I only bothered to previously look at the back of the amp- it says ''4 Ohms'' - I thought that all Super Reverbs work on 2 Ohms...
That's the UL version. You can see Fender used the same amp for the Super, Pro and Bandmasters (reverbs). The Super reverb used four 16ohm speakers, unlike earlier ones with 8 ohms.
