PT Current Capactiy Rating for 5F11 Vibrolux

Im in the process of building a 5F11 Tweed Vibrolux, and I wasnt able to find adequate info regarding the PT. Im using a repro chassis, so Im stuck with a 2"x2.5" footprint. Ive come across several PTs with a 70mA current rating, and Im unsure if that is adequate for modern usage. The amp will be slightly modified from the stock power supply, as I will be using a 5V4 rectifier, increased filter capacitance and an added choke. Im hoping to get around 360-380V on the plates, and idle the 6V6s at around 13-15W.

Allen Amps also has a beefed up version of this PT, with 150mA current capacity. Would there be any tonal advantage going with this one? This amp will definitley be played mildly cranked, so Ill need all components to keep up. Thoughts? Any math to go along with your thoughts would be helpful

Not sure about the 5F11, but 80mA is mentioned on 5B3 layout drawing (similar tube compliment), but I'd think 100mA is plenty for 2 x 6V6s and 2 x 12AX7s

Yeah for a stock 5F11 or equivalent, a power transformer about the size found in a BF or SF Princeton Reverb or Vibro Champ, is good enough.
The OT from a 2x6V6 Princeton Reverb is good too.

Yea this was my thinking as well. I went ahead and went with Weber's version, which is rated at 100mA, 330-0-330. Those numbers are perfect, but there is no bias tap. Theres no reason why I cant take the bias off the HT(ala 6G2), right?

Yeah - just copy the 6G2 or similar (but make the supply adjustable)
