ts9 missing spring?

I have a tube screamer here that seems to be missing a spring
I am not much of a pedal expert but there is a metal ball right and it should have a small spring, because it does not quite reach the switch, I replaced the switch
and thought I wired it wrong, I did not even realize it was momentary until
a study of the schematic.. anyway can I just steal a spring from an old keyboard or where can I find something that will work, and just to verify there should be a spring there on the ts9 right?
