| Boss PS-5 Super Pitch Shifter
I need a schematic for the Boss PS-5 pedal. Anyone have the service manual for one of these, or just the schematic? It seems to have a power supply problem. I get +9V and 4.5V bias to the analog IC's but no +5 or whatever it should be to the Digital IC's. Everything is surface mount which makes troubleshooting without a schematic great fun. Nothing looks burned...

| PS-5 Schematic update
OK - I've managed to make it work by forcing +5V on the Digital circuitry supply rail. The 5V regulator is a surface mount device. I guess I'll look at the Mouser site and see if I can locate one. A schematic would still be nice though... RE |

| Boss PS-5 Super Shifter Info Needed
Hey - I'm desperate here... any tech info on this pedal would be appreciated. I need device numbers for D8, IC8, and Q12. They are surface mount devices with no usable markings on them. I can probably go through Roland, but they don't seem to be dealing in the 21st century. No email communication. I have to call and sit on hold - you are caller number 27, please hold, your call is important to us.... |

Hello Rick, did you have any luck on your super shifter? I just got one from a friend, and sounds like I have exactly the same problem. Any help would be great. Thanks
