Still get lot's of phone scams, still get the one about my windows account.
Also the hot scam of late, is about the IRS.
Check out this call, it explains a lot.
    Long, but enlightening.

I got this call today, which is a scam, from this number! 312-796-0319
This one is a new one, that I've not heard before!

"Said $77.99 had been charged to my Visa card for Amazon and if I didn't want the charge to go through I should call this number. "

After a US drone killed Iran's top general recently?
Iran cyber attacks on the US are expected.
Banks, Electric grids, ATMs, personal computers, etc.
If your PC Security updates are not up to date, it is a good time to update them.
Backups of all pertinent data, and AV scans, are recommended!

Looks like they might go after Trump properties, first. (I'll bite my tongue now.)

            I got this email today.
It looks legit, but has to be a phishing scam.
I logged into prime, no notices.
Since nearly everyone now uses amazon, and prime, please be careful with your personal information!

Doesn't have the usual poor syntax & badly spelled words that are the major clues - the phishers are improving their game.

Smart move to check your account but NOT use any link in the email.
              Enjoy. Every. Sandwich.

I've received an email recently that looked quite authentic. Better than what I've seen before. Unfortunately for the phisher, I don't hold an account with that business. And yes, I've gotten into that habit of looking at the source and return addresses of all email from any source that asks me to reply or click. Just personal business as usual today, I guess?
