problem in these amps is those smd elco caps,the 1uF and 2.2uF get bad after some years,one of them pulls the limiter circuit down,hence the lack of signal...

i guess its a 10 or 100 ohm,you should see where its connected,if its between the 2 main filters probably 100...

yes,leave alone the plate voltage,then regulate the screen and Pi/preamp to 400 Volts using the mosfet and a couple 200v zeners to ground,that helps a lot...

you could feed the old one with 120 and just scale the results.
Standard fireball has a 24v dc supply for switching system,the bias has another winding...

there are several versions of an od100,anyway they all revolve around the CAE 3+ preamp,more or less no big difference,power amp is standard Marshall....

i fixed one of these,problems were several solder joints on the power supply board.
Take care because this amp has 600V on plates.

fan should spin when the temperature gets very hot on the power amp,at idle in normal condition it never starts.
yes ,transistor amps don't need a load....
