Post Sovtek mig 50 Transformerchange II

Hello
Still needing help determining whitch trafos I need for my Sovtek mig 50.

Data
Amp : Sovtek mig 50 head orange edition (not midget)
tubes : 2x 6p3s (6l6) power
: 2x 6n2p preamp
: 1x 6n1p ph.Inv (i think)

ot - 4,8 and 16 ohms - 50 watts
pt - 230 volts primary. filaments 6,3 volts.
pcb - printed 007

I think i can determine the ot myself, as i've been told that any 50w marshall replacement ot will do. - (correct me if i'm wrong.)

But the trouble is determining whitch pt I need as there are several outputs needed for connecting the components in the amp (pcb, rectifier etc.)

Can anyone tell me what voltages I need on the secondary ?

Various schematics from the web doesn't seem to comply to my amp, also the have not the voltages printed on.

grateful from any help and/or comments

Poffa

The output tranny needs to have a plate to plate impedance for a pair of 6L6 tubes. You may end up with a output tranny for a Marshall with EL34's.
"Tubes and More" sell a power tranny that would work. Look up a 290DX transformer. Of course you need to consider the physical size and mounting orientation. I'm assuming you have no low voltage devices like OpAmps or relays. I'm not familiar with this particular amp.

A few years ago, I bought replacements for a Mig100h from New Sensor for $25 each, power and opt. Maybe email them and see if they have any left.

New Sensors prices have gone up quite a bit.

Hey poffa,

I have the same amp: Sovtek Mig 50 orange edition.
Have you found which output and power transfo could replace the old ones?

Let me know if you have any news or any deals !!

Thanks

PCB layout

I want to build Sovtek Mig 50 amp from scratch, would it not be too difficult for someone to take a high-res picture of the printed circuit board solder and components sides?

All you need is the schematic to built the amp.
