Peavey 400BH

HI all. I have a Peavey 400Bh that just hums. I checked all the power transistors and they all read good. Any help would be great.

Your power caps are DOA, change 'em.

Okay, my amp buzzes loudly, blows fuses, and the limit light stays a pulsating red. Any suggestions?

Hi tire, welcome to the place.

First suggestion is to start a new thread for your amp instead of using a three year old one.

Disconnect the speaker until we are sure there is no DC on the output.

Power off, go down the row of power transistors and see if any are shorted.
