I think I may end up going with someone else, shipping rates are getting a bit high with mojo
I started putting together and order of bobbins/flatwork, plastic covers and screws totaling $65, and the lowest shipping rate was $20..
my entire order could fit in a $5 flat rate box...
that kinda defeats the dealer discount paying $20 or more for shipping for an order that could fit in a $5 flat rate box

edit: I took off a set of jag flatwork and it dropped my shipping down to $15, how is this calculated?

Could it be that magnetic materials require UPS ground shipping?

I think you would sell a lot of them.
As it stands now, I have to place a special order with a magnet supplier to get these.
Since most of us buy pickup parts along from mojo anyway, it would simplify things if you stocked them for us!
        Thank You,

        Hi Terry

I've not tried the ADFX Un-5s, I didn't care for the tone of the rough A2s they carry.
          I haven't tried the A2 polished.
I don't do Ebay, and their prices are higher if you don't, and if you don't have their dealer status.
So I stick with Mojo and Magnetic Hold.
Was trying to entice mojo into buying the Un-5s.

I can add the unoriented A5's. Just keep reminding me because I am constantly getting overwhelmed with new products, manufacturing, and R&D stuff. Not complaining though! Just easy for me to forget and procrastinate some stuff with everything I have going on right now. Thanks!

Not sure how my other supplier is avoiding this and not having to increase our cost much. Anyhow, the new thicker ones are gradually changing over so I don't know how many (if any) on our latest shipment made it to the new spec yet. I changed this after the fact so they may still be the same until next time.
You should take the time to put a few dimensions in your product descriptions so people know what they are getting. I know I don't want to be the guy you sell those thin keeper bars too.

Not trying to bash Mojo or anything. I'm just being honest here. If I were to have a business making pickups. I wouldn't be able to consider Mojo as a serious option for parts because they don't keep their stock up. If I depended on them I would have been waiting for 2 months already just for keep bars. It doesn't make sense for me to order a few things and pay for the shipping and then have to go someplace else for the parts they don't have and pay shipping again.

I know what you are saying, and feel your pain!
But, to be fare to Mojo, do you have some reasonable alternatives?
There are things I can only buy at reasonable prices at mojo.
Let's not run off some of the only suppliers we have left, State-side!

I pretty much have to agree with Teee here. I do have a smallish business making pickups and doing rewinds, and I do have to rely on Mojo as one of my suppliers even if they are out of stock on some things a lot. There just aren't that many options out there and from my experience the ones that are out there are just as bad if not worse. There are many items that I can only get from one supplier or another, and it isn't ever good to have to rely on another business to keep yours going. Sometimes there isn't much choice though. For instance, I have one particular cover that has been on backorder from Allparts for nearly a year now, but no one else even supplies it at all. It would cost me way more than it would be worth for tooling to have that cover made up. It is better to just wait it out or change the design to use something else. But under the circumstances I'd love to have the option to buy that one from someone else, extra shipping charges and all.

We are much luckier now to at least have some suppliers to choose from than years ago when from all I've heard, about the only source for parts was to have tooling made and buy in quantity, which is what the suppliers that we do have now mostly are doing. For many items there are now three or four suppliers to choose from, but for some things there may only be one. Keeper bars I make myself anyway, and I have even made a baseplate before a time or two, but I'd sure rather not fool with it. I try to keep plenty on hand of the parts that I need most often and try to start ordering way ahead of time if I get low. Usually I get the magnets I use the most made up from someone like Allstar, and the minimum order on that is enough that I am not going to run out anytime soon. Same way with polescrews and other stuff I can't really make myself. Buying in bulk and carrying stock is a cost of business that I'd rather not have, but it is a lot better than having to make everything like pickup makers used to have to do. I remember when people (including me) complained a lot about Guitar Jones for the same kinds of issues and worse. But now that supplier is gone and there were a few parts he had that I still haven't found again. Just my two cents worth on this.

Yep. I'm grateful to get the parts we can get at smaller quantities. You can get the GuitarJones parts directly from WSC... for a $1,000 minimum order.

                        Hi folks,

I appreciate everyone's support and feedback. This is a year of change for us improving leads times, increasing stock levels, improving specs, etc. It is a gradual process unfortunately, part by part, out of hundreds of parts. Our keeper bars are changing spec to be thicker which has required new tooling. Our supplier will have normal lead times after getting through the tooling, approving samples, etc process. Unfortunately it holds things up for the moment, and I feel the same pain of waiting, but I know the quality will be better. Keep in mind being out of parts holds our pickup production too as we feed from the warehouse stock. This directly affects me and the pressure to improve things. Please be patient, it is getting better. Thanks.
